Obituary of Nazier J. Clukey
Sangerville - Nazier Joseph Clukey, 70, passed away September 20, 2021, due to complications with diabetes. He was born on September 14, 1951, in Dexter, the son of Nazier J. Sr. and Anita B. (Cleaves) Clukey. Nazier grew up in Sangerville and attended Piscataquis Community High School. He loved to fish, hunt, listen to bluegrass music, and collect antiques. Nazier always enjoyed taking his kids to Horseshoe Pond in Greenville to fly fish. He loved riding his motorcycle and his ATV. He was a machinist for years after receiving a certification from Eastern Maine Technical College in Bangor. Nazier was a firefighter for Sangerville for many years and worked for the Town of Sangerville.
He is survived by his son, Brock N. Clukey and his wife, Jane, and their two girls, Nazier’s granddaughters, Emma and Paisley Clukey; his daughter, Holly J. Clukey; his brother, Leonard Clukey and his nephew, Lenny Clukey; his sister, Barbara Pickens and his niece, Dottie Pickens; and his nephew, Kiev Federowicz and his wife, Gail, and their daughter, Kess. Nazier was predeceased by his parents, Nazier J. Sr and Anita B. Clukey; and his sister, Deanna Federowicz and her husband, John.
