Milo – Rosalie R. Seavey, 82, wife of the late Donald W. Seavey, passed away July 29, 2021, peacefully at home in Milo, Maine. Rosalie was born December 7, 1938, in Kingman, Maine, the daughter of Evelyn (West) Weston. Rosalie worked as a CNA until her children were born, and had worked at Brown’s, Hibbard Nursing Home, and at Milo Hospital. She was a long-time member of the Park Street United Methodist Church, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and also volunteered for the Milo Food Cupboard and Meals for ME. Family was most important to her. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and showered them with many hugs, peanut butter fudge, and sugar cookies. Rosalie leaves; a daughter, Dawn Pratt and her fiancé, Gerald Merrill Jr., of Abbot, Maine; a son, Wayne Seavey and his wife, Lisa, of Milo, Maine; a brother, Raymond Weston Jr. and his wife, Betty, of Orlando, Florida; five grandchildren, Michaela Pratt, Cameron Pratt and his wife, Morgan, and their son, Nolan, Jordan Seavey and his fiancée, Jessica, and their daughter, Addison, Skylar Seavey, and Brandon Thompson. She was predeceased by a brother, Richard Weston; two sisters, Charlene Cooney and Geraldine Weston; her mother, Evelyn Stearns (West); and her stepfather, Everett Stearns. Friends are invited to call from 12 Noon until time of service at 1PM, Wednesday August 4, 2021, at the Park Street United Methodist Church, Milo, with Pastor Stephen Dean and Pastor Jim Mello officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Condolences and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
