The world lost a wonderful human being, when Katlyn Badger passed on. We had only known each other a few years, but we grew to be fast friends.
I like to think of my first summer living here, all The neighbors gathering outside, laughing and talking about everything and nothing. We watched the children playing and laughing in the sun.
That summer we had community suppers outside. Kat made a mean stuffed shells dish. She loved my baked beans. I always made sure there was plenty of salt pork.
We were a family, we looked out for each other. We went through good times and bad times together. That was the summer Kat lost her son due to a car accident. We mourned together.
Kat was the strongest woman that we all have ever met. She had faced so much tradjady in her life, but she got up every morning and went on. That is true courage.
Katlyn was a good, kind person. She was strong and independent to the point of being stubborn. She stuck to her convictions and faced the future with stoicism. She was brave and determined.
Kat left us way too soon. We weren't ready. Her absence has left a hole in our little community. A hole that won't be easy or possible to fill.
We love you Kat. We will never forget you. Have a Merry Christmas with your family in heaven.
Love Always,

i remember like it was yesterday moving in next door to you in Base housing in Topsham. You and Christy and Joe. We were good friends for many years and had a lot of fun, I know the comfort you must have felt knowing you would soon be reunited with Christy & Logan. I don’t know what to say except you have gone on to a better place. ~ R i P Old friend ~ i’ll see you when i get there.
