Obituary of Lana J. Ellison
Milo – Lana J. Ellison, 73, passed away peacefully of Covid-19, December 17, 2021, at Northern Light Mayo Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft, surrounded by her family. She was born September 30, 1948, in Milo, the daughter of John and Gertrude (Dean) Ellison. Lana loved her whole family, and especially enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved going to the races to watch her boys race, as well as watching her stories and sports. She loved being “Park Ranger”.
Lana was predeceased by her parents; brother, Baby John; brother, Tommy; and sister, Laurel.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Badger and his wife, Charney; her daughter, Jennifer Herbest and her husband, Dale; her daughter, Lois Saunders; and her son, Lewis Badger Jr. and his fiancée, Erin Evans; three brothers, Doug Ellison and his wife, Mona; Bobby Ellison and his wife, Tanya; and Louie Ellison and his wife, Lori. She leaves six grandchildren, D.J., Chad, Michelle, Cody, Courtney, and Lanie; and four great-grandchildren, Jace, Bristol, Brooklynn, and Gracelynn; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
A graveside memorial service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Milo, in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Condolences and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
