Obituary of Robert Merle Warman

Greenville- Robert Merle Warman, 74, passed away November 2, 2017, at Mayo Regional Hospital, with his loving sister and brother-in-law at his side.   He was born August 25, 1943, in Greenville, the son of Lester and Addie (Gelleson) Warman.  Merle enjoyed hunting and spending time with the guys at hunting camp, riding with George in the log truck, and attending the Greenville United Methodist Church.  He was certainly one of a kind and he will be remembered as a social butterfly who enjoyed all the Greenville celebrations. 

Merle is survived by his brother, Lester “Red” Warman, Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth, of Pennsylvania; his four sisters, Arlene Hichborn and her husband, George, of Greenville Junction, Betty Chaisson and her husband, Conrad, of Greenville, Joan Martin of Saco, and Marie Pierce of Brunswick; and several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his very special uncle, Roland Warman.

A memorial graveside service will be held 1PM Friday, November 10, 2017, at the family lot in Greenville Cemetery, with Rev. Marilyn Rohdin officiating. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolence may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
