Obituary of Warner B. Nutter

Milo- Warner Benjamin Nutter, 81, passed away with his loving family at his side April 11, 2017, at the Maine Veterans’ Home, Bangor. He was born December 25, 1935, in Milo, the son of Kenneth F. Sr., and Mary I. (Davidson) Nutter. A U.S. Army veteran, Warner most enjoyed his family, his friends, hunting, and fishing. He was a member of the Bradford Baptist Church and loved his entire church family. Warner was employed for many years by Great Northern Paper Company. Warner is survived by his loving wife, Ruth (Weiss) Nutter of Milo; his son, Gregory Nutter and wife, Kelly of Bucksport; two daughters, Wendy Badger and her husband, Kevin of Old Town, and Carole Mitchell and husband, Jamie of Orrington; two brothers, Kenneth “Frank” Nutter, Jr. and wife, Anna of Connecticut, and Daniel Nutter and wife, Elbie of Milo; his sister, Annie Lovejoy of Williamsburg; four grandchildren, Michelle Nutter, Keith Nutter, Brandon Badger, and Spencer Hills; and three great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, Tyler, and Masen. He was predeceased by his brother, Roland Nutter. The family wishes to thank Beacon Hospice and the Maine Veterans’ Home, Bangor, for their compassionate care of Warner. Family and friends are invited to visit 1-2pm Friday, April 14, 2017, at the Bradford Baptist Church, where a funeral service will be held at 2pm, with Pastor Donald Booker officiating. Burial with military honors will be held later in the spring in the family lot, Evergreen Cemetery, Milo. Memorial contributions may be may to the Bradford Baptist Church, 461 Main Road, Bradford, Maine 04410. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
