They married in 1961 in Dover-Foxcroft and moved to Connecticut, Massachusetts and then Connecticut again before returning to Dover-Foxcroft in 1978 with their 4 children, where they resided on Pine Street. After Duane retired from the phone company, they moved to their camp at Gates Landing on Sebec Lake, and wintered in Las Vegas for many years before Duane became too ill to travel.
