Rockledge, FL and Greenville - Cornelia “Kit” Ruth Adkins Clark entered eternal rest with family by her side on September 5, 2021, in Rockledge, FL after a brief illness.
She was born in Greenville on May 22, 1922. She was predeceased by her mother, Mary Ethel Hanson Adkins, her father, Leslie Adkins, her older sister Natalie Adkins Parsons, and her husband, Walter F. “Bob” Clark. She spent her early life in Greenville in the care of her maternal grandparents, John and Jenny Hanson. She and her husband relocated several times while he was in military service during both World War II and Korea, finally settling in Florida.
She is survived by sons, John H. (Kristine) and Mark L. (Robyn); grandsons, Matthew (Regina) and Ian (Kelly); two great-grandsons, Benjamin and Michael; along with a network of extended family and friends.
A committal service will be held on 11:00 am Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the Greenville Cemetery. Local arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Condolences and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
