Laura Ann Micoletti Obituary
Charleston – Laura Ann Micoletti, 58, passed away peacefully July 21, 2026, at her home. She was born June 14, 1968, in Danbury, Connecticut, the daughter of Glen and Diane (Spader) Villane.
Laura worked in the medical field as a phlebotomist and CNA for various organizations in Connecticut and Maine throughout her career. She loved her work, especially when she was able to work with the elderly. She was a talented musician of the fife and marched with a section of the CT. Fife and Drum Corp. She was an avid gardener of vegetables and flowers and lover of all things in nature especially the salt water. Laura was a lover of animals and went out of her way to tend to turtles in the road, chipmunks and birds as well as her beloved pets over the years. Laura was a giving person and spent many hours making homemade gifts for those she loved. She was crafty and had a way with decoupage. She knew how to be silly and dance it out and sing loud and proud making sure everyone around her understood the importance of just being in the moment. We will miss her loud laughter.
Laura is survived by her life partner, Richard M. Daigneault and his family, Richard, Joey, and Kristine; her mother and father, Glen and Diane; her sister, Leah and her husband, Kris; sisters, Judy, Jerryl, Jackie, and Joni; nieces and nephews, Ruby, Isaak, William, Allan, and Augusta; special granddaughter, Abby; and several cousins and loving friends. She was predeceased by her husband, James Joseph Micoletti; infant sister, Loren Barber, brother, Daniel Barber; and sister, Leslie Wohlstrom.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside memorial service at 1PM Sunday, September 20, 2026, at the Evergreen Cemetery in Garland. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
