Guilford – Richard W. Blythe Jr., 81, passed away July 6, 2026, at Dexter Healthcare. HE was born September 22, 1944, in Elizabeth, NJ, the son of Agnes (Clemens) and Richard Blythe Sr. Richard proudly served with the United States Marine Corps before a career as a master electrician. He enjoyed and was an avid golfer.

Richard is survived by three daughters, Donna Wallace, Diana McEachern, and Linmarie Blythe; sisters, Mary Cartwright, and Agnes Balandis; brother, Joseph Blythe; nine grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, and his granddaughter, Melissa Warman.

The family wishes to thank all involved in his compassionate and comforting care. This includes the VA, Dexter Healthcare, grandson, Justin, daughter, Diana, Laura Potenziano, Michelle Labree, and Dawn-Marie Swenson.
