Rockwood - Edward J. Worster, age 84, passed away peacefully on December 13th, 2025, in Portland, Maine. He was born February 25th, 1941, in Rockwood, Maine, a son of Evelyn (King) Worster and Lloyd Worster. Known as “Punk” to family and friends, he attended Greenville High School and went on to pursue multiple small business ventures including the Arnold Restaurant, the Four Seasons Restaurant, and Greenville Auto Parts. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, and gardening. He will be remembered for his witty humor and dedication to his wife and children.

Ed was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Carol Ann (Haggan) Worster. He is survived by his children, Travis J. Worster and Tasha A. Worster, as well as his grandchildren, Emily, Toby, Jack, Emma, and David, who knew him fondly as “PePere.”

A graveside memorial service will be held on September 4th, 2026, at 11 am at the New St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Rockwood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Town of Jackman Paramedic Fund in memory of Edward Worster. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
