Kenneth E. Peachey Obituary
Greenville – Kenneth E. Peachey, 87, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 20, 2026, at Orchard Park Nursing Care Facility in Farmington, Maine. He was born on February 27, 1939, in Greenville, Maine, to Gerald and Idona (Harrington) Peachey. Ken worked for Scott Paper Company, Beaudry Lumber Company, and Moosehead Manufacturing Company. He was a hardworking and devoted provider for his family.
Ken enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially at Big and Little Squaw ponds. He took part in the annual Pickett fishing trips from 1983 to 2025. Ken shared his fishing knowledge and journal notes, including where and when to fish at his favorite spots, with his grandson Christopher and later with his great-grandsons when they joined the trips at age eight. Those trips created many cherished memories. He also enjoyed motorcycle trips with his wife, Lucille. Ken attended Open Bible Church in Greenville for many years and later attended Cornerstone Baptist Church in North Jay after moving to the Farmington area.
Ken was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Lucille; his parents; his brothers, John, Merle, and infant brother Robert; his sister, Sandra Meila; his son-in-law, Wayne Callahan; and his grandson, Kenneth Daily. He is survived by his daughter, Angela Daily of Tampa, Florida; his three stepdaughters, Debra Pickett and her husband, Richard, of East Dixfield, Maine, Elizabeth Boutin of Greenville, Maine, and Sherry Callahan of Greenville, Maine; his stepson, Derek St. Pierre and his significant other, Pam Andrews, of Fort Ashby, West Virginia; his grandchildren, Christopher Pickett, Charity Morin, Andre’ Boutin, Jeremy Boutin, Chad St. Pierre, Derek William St. Pierre, and Melissa St. Pierre; his two sisters, Arlene Marie Harmon and her husband, Ted, of Washington, and Linda Moran of Tampa, Florida; as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family thanks the staff at Orchard Park for their care of Kenneth.
A celebration of life will be held at 12:15 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, following the Sunday morning service at Cornerstone Baptist Church in North Jay. A light luncheon will follow.
