Brandon A. Hanson Obituary

Brownville - Brandon A. Hanson, 38, passed away unexpectedly April 27, 2026 at his home. He was born October 9, 1987 in Millinocket, the son of Kelly (Mullins) Hanson Legere and Randy L. Hanson. Brandon grew up in Milo and Brownville. He graduated from Penquis Valley High School, Class of 2006. Brandon was a very loving and attentive father to his son, Braydon. They spent much of their time doing fun things and spending many weekends with Braydon's "Meemaw", "Papa", Uncle Chris, and Aunt Faith. Brandon and Braydon also spent a lot of their time hanging out with Uncle Mike and Auntie Taylor Whitney. Brandon's good friend, Neil Russell, in honor of Brandon, will be keeping his business, Hanson's Jacking and Leveling, moving forward.


Brandon is survived by his loving parents, father, Randy Hanson, and mother, Kelly Hanson Legere; son, Braydon Hanson; brother, Travis Hanson and his wife, Becky, and their children, Donevin, Leland, and Mariah; grandfather, Roger Mullins and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He had a close and special relationship with his cousin, Cory Hanson. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Lita Mullins, Donna Wood, and Fred Hanson.


A memorial service will be held 2PM Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Lary Funeral Home, 62 Summer Street, Dover-Foxcroft, with Pastor Kevin Jacobs officiating. Burial will be at Pine Tree Cemetery in Brownville Junction. To honor Brandon’s love of animals, and especially dogs, in lieu of flowers please make donations to your local animal shelter.
