Christina L. Taheny, 52, of Holden, ME passed away peacefully in her sister's home, April 11, 2026, with her family by her side. She was born August 27, 1973, in Augusta, Maine.

Christina loved to be her own boss when she opened her own cleaning service. She really enjoyed her time spent on weekend getaways, family and friend BBQ's, gardening, and The Club. She will be remembered for her stubborn attitude and saying things very directly. She didn't sugar coat anything and fought hard for what she believed. She loved big and laughed loud. She was one of a kind. She loved a good joke and never passed up a good laugh even if it was targeted at her! As her mother always said, "Chrissy you're so skinny you need to run around the shower to get wet!" And she would smile, laugh and agree. She loved her grandchildren more than anyone could ever imagine! If she was ever needed she tried very hard to be there! She worked hard for those around her.

Christina was predeceased by her brother, Isreal "Izzy" Breton, and maternal grandparents, Lois and Joseph Bigelow. She leaves behind her mother, Karen S. Arbour, and father, Francis Breton. She is survived by her husband, Phillip Taheny, whom she loved very much. Her memory lives on through her son's, Zachary Breton and Tyler Croan, and her grandchildren, Isabella and Henry Breton. The rivalry may be ending for now but she leaves behind her siblings whom love her to the moon and back Brandon Lynch, Nicole Newman and her husband, Randall Newman, Sarah Drew and husband, Eric Drew, Adam Breton, and Aaron Breton. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Christina will be placed to rest privately at a family plot in Fayette, Maine. There will be a celebration of life held at The Eagles Club for friends and family to attend on May 17,2026 time to be announced later.
