Malcolm "Mac" H. Edgerly Obituary
Dover-Foxcroft – Malcolm H. Edgerly, 83, husband of the late Anita H. (Lyford) Edgerly, died peacefully March 27, 2026, at his home, surrounded by family. He was born July 18, 1942, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Herbert and Marion (Noyes) Edgerly Sr. Mac received his schooling in Harmony. He served the United States Army for 4 years. Mac worked for South Street Market for several years and Wal-Mart for over 25 years until his retirement.
Malcolm is survived by his sister, Mary Dow (Ralph); brothers, Herbert Edgerly Jr. (Vi) and Jeffrey Edgerly; niece, Jennifer; and nephews, Paul, Herb, and William (Erin). In addition to his wife, Anita, and parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Sharon.
The family wishes to thank Beacon Hospice and Home, Health, and Healing for their support. They extend a very special thanks to caregivers, Amanda, Ashley, and Crystal and special relative, Eben, who made his days in the end.
Burial with military honors will be held 10AM Saturday, July 18, 2026, in the family lot in South Dover Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
