Orneville – Winslow “Rick” Richard Newbert Jr., 57, born April 18th, 1968, passed away February 17th, 2026. He was a kind, loving and supportive father to Kristy Stillings, Desiree Newbert, and Miranda Newbert. He loved his children, his grandchildren, Alexandria Newbert, and his girlfriend, April York and her grandchildren, Katrina Badger and Darren Badger. Rick enjoyed music, spending time outdoors, drawing and had a love for animals. He really enjoyed the summer and fall. He appreciated helping people and took pride in being an honest and kind hearted man. He will be dearly missed by many and forever loved by his family. Rick’s memory and life will be cherished by his loved ones. He was an amazing man.

Rick is survived by his wife, Gail Newbert of LaGrange; his daughter's, Kristy, Desiree, and Miranda; his grandchildren, Alexandria, Katrina, Darren, Kenneth, and Gavin; his brother, David Newbert and his wife, Connie of Medway and their two children, his niece, Brittney Newbert and nephew, David Newbert Jr; his sister, Shanann Newbert (Cooper) of Hartland; his father's sisters, his aunts, Eska, Rena, Heidi; and his cousins, Cindy, Eddie Bubar, Clayton “Dude” Bubar, and Richard “Buck” Bubar. He was predeceased by his mother, Sharon Juanita Newbert (McKenzie) of Brownville; his father, Winslow Richard Newbert Sr. of Orneville; his uncle, Eddie Bubar and his wife, MaryAnne Bubar of Orneville; and grandson, Sylus Otto Newbert.
