Norman E. Lamson Obituary

Sebec – Norman E. Lamson, 86, passed away peacefully March 9, 2026. He was born October 16, 1939, in Sebec, the son of Roscoe and Flora (Clement) Lamson. Norman was a longtime member of the Sebec Village Community Church and the Sebec Reading Room Association.


Norman was predeceased by his wife, Diane (Preble) Lamson; his first wife, Nancy (Cambridge) Lamson; his parents, Roscoe and Flora Lamson; and his brother, Lawrence Lamson. He is survived by several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and special friends, Ed and Sally Butler.


The family wishes to thank Northern Light C.A. Dean Hospital, New Beginnings Assisted Living, and Gentiva Hospice for their wonderful and compassionate care for Norman.


A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm, May 17, 2026, at the Sebec Village Community Christian Church. Burial will be in the family lot in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Dover-Foxcroft. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sebec Village Community Christian Church, 734 Sebec Village Rd Sebec, ME 04481. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
