Obituary of Lucille Dorothy Peachey
Greenville and Farmington - Lucille Dorothy Peachey, 92, went home to be with her Lord at Orchard Park Nursing Care Facility, Farmington, on Thursday, February 19, 2026, with family members by her side. Lucille, one of two children, was born on February 8, 1934, in St. Agatha, the daughter of Willie and Catherine Guerrette. Lucille attended school and graduated from Greenville Consolidated High School.
Lucille was exceptionally talented and well known for her cooking. She worked at Squaw Mountain Inn, the Boom Chain Restaurant, and on the well-known Katahdin boat cruises. Her baked goods, desserts and especially whoopie pies were her staples. Elizabeth and Sherry have continued her tradition of making whoopie pies every year for the annual fishing trips.
Lucille enjoyed taking trips with her husband, Ken, on their motorcycles. She enjoyed singing while playing her guitar, and she was an excellent yodeler just like her father. Lucille enjoyed yard sales as well.
Lucille was predeceased by her parents; brother-in-law, Laurie Vainio; son-in-law, Wayne Callahan; and step-grandson, Kenneth Daily.Lucille is survived by her husband of 59 years, Kenneth, who resides at Orchard Park; sister, Marie Simone Vainio of Mesick, Michigan; three daughters, Debra an husband, Richard Pickett of East Dixfield, Elizabeth Boutin and Sherry Callahan of Greenville; son, Derek St. Pierre and significant other, Pam Andrews of Fort Ashby, West Virginia; stepdaughter Angela Daily of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren, Christopher Pickett, Charity Morin, Andre’ and Jeremy Boutin, Chad St. Pierre, Derek William, and Melissa St. Pierre; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to thank the staff at Orchard Park for their care of Lucille.
A graveside service will be held on May 16th at 1:00 pm in the Greenville Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Lary Funeral Home, 62 Summer Street Dover-Foxcroft, where condolences may be shared at laryfuneralhome.com.
