Charleston and Brewer – Gregory C. Vigue, 70, passed away peacefully February 6, 2026, at a Brewer nursing home. He was born March 12, 1955, in Dexter, the son of Wesley and Beatrice (Smith) Vigue. He was a loving brother, uncle, friend, and devoted son. Greg played a vital roll in taking wonderful care of his mother in her later years making it possible for her to stay in her home as long as she could.
Greg was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and taking his mom for a ride in his Blazer.
Greg is survived by his brother, Eric Vigue and his wife, Darby; sister Michele Mooney and her husband, Joeseph; nephews, Robert Vigue, Josh Waldron, and Dalton Gray; and niece, Ileia Vigue. He was predeceaced by his parents.
A graveside service will be held 11 A.M., Friday May 15, 2026, at the family lot in the Corinthian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
