Greenville – Jacqueline “Jackie” Later Lizotte, 75, passed away January 15, 2026, at Northern Light CA Dean Hospital in Greenville after a brave 10 year battle with cancer. She was born January 21, 1950, in Greenville, the daughter of George W. and Emily (Tuscan) Later.

Jackie attended Greenville schools before attending Husson College. In the early '70's, she worked as a secretary at Dartmouth College and as the Guidance secretary at Greenville High School until she had her daughter and chose to stay at home to raise her. She will always be remembered as the most loving and devoted wife and mother. Jackie adored all her family and was the glue that binds everyone together near and far. In her younger years, she went on many adventures with her parents and siblings and enjoyed flying with her father to Alaska and spending time at West Outlet Camps, Bulldog, and Parlin Pond. She cherished the memories of growing up on Pleasant Street with her family and friends; especially her best friend, Betty Doyon Ryder.

Jackie is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Michael R. Lizotte; daughter, Heather Lizotte; son, Joseph Lizotte and his wife, Mondae; grandchildren, Jacob, Hannah, Andrew, and Reese; great-grandchildren, Mayven and Miley; brothers, Allen Later and his wife, Nancy, and Charles Later and his wife, Sharon; sisters, Penelope Later Moody and her husband, Richard; and Jennifer Later. She had many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Emily; an infant daughter; a grandson, Riley Michael Lizotte, who was the apple of her eye; and sister, Aileen Later Mendes and her husband, Manuel.
