Christopher J. Bragan Obituary

Dover-Foxcroft – Christopher J. Bragan, 51, husband of Angel M. (Stevens) Bragan passed away suddenly January 11, 2026. He was born July 25, 1974, in Bangor, the son of Robert J. and Carla J. (Baird) Bragan.

Chris was raised in Dover-Foxcroft. As a child he was active in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. As a young man he participated in high school football and wrestling, setting records in both. Chris was always an entrepreneur, starting work at a young age. He would often reflect on the good times at True Farms and White Mountain Cable. He moved on to create several thriving enterprises with his wife Angel that included The Store n’ More and B n’ B Auto Salvage. His work was not done. Chris was adventurous; he loved traveling with Angel. Their travels took them to places all over the United States. He loved historical sites, museums, and new places – a favorite being Las Vegas. Chris was a man full of life. He loved his family and spent time helping others. His zest for life, his beautiful smile, and his boisterous laughter will be forever missed.

He is survived by his wife, Angel; his parents, Robert and Carla; his three children, Lexi, Dustin, and Shyla; grand-daughter, Emory; two honorary sons, Devin Nichols and Kevin Edson; two brothers, William of Dover-Foxcroft and David and his wife, Daishia of Winthrop, and their twin daughters, Samantha and Chloe. Coming from a large family, he leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends, and of course his boys Monty and Vegas.

Visitations will begin at 2pm February 14, 2026, with a memorial service starting at 3PM at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft. The celebration of Chris’ life will continue at the Chadbourne Merrill American Legion, 112 Park Street in Dover-Foxcroft immediately after the service.

Chris loved animals. In honor of this, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to local animal shelters and/or rescues. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Memories and messages of condolence may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com
