Greenville- We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Michelle M. Morehouse, 54, of Rockwood, ME. Michelle passed away unexpectedly on November 15, 2025, at Northern Light CA Dean Hospital in Greenville, due to complications related to a recent lung cancer diagnosis. She was born May 31, 1971 in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Michelle was very well loved by the Rockwood and Greenville communities. She was a hard worker, dedicating her heart and body to construction work in the area for over 15 years. Michelle loved the simple joys in life, including spending time with her dogs, Nina and Maizey, fishing, and hunting in the Maine woods. Her greatest joys in life were her children, Dakota and Jack, who she was frequently heard boasting about at the Rockwood Bar & Grill. Michelle was fiercely independent, loving, and had a great sense of humor- all traits that she worked hard to instill into her children throughout their childhood and young adult lives.

Michelle is survived by her son, Jack and fiancée, Katie; daughter, Dakota and significant other, Alex; brother, Joseph Kennard Jr. and his wife, Karen Kennard, and their children, Katie Kahn and Joseph Kennard III; and her nephews Zachary and Benjamin Boyd. She was predeceased by her mother, Lauretta Tetrault, and sister, Cindy Boyd.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2-5PM, November 22, 2025, at the Rockwood Bar & Grill, all are welcome. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
