Rangeley and Greenville – Richard F. Morton, 80, passed away September 21, 2025, at home in Greenville surrounded by the love of his family. He was born September 1, 1945, in Farmington, Maine, the son of Donald C. and Ruth (Field) Morton.
Richard was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was a Mason and a past Grand Master of his Lodge, a Shriner, Rotary International Club member, and also a member of the East Richardson Rod and Gun Club. Richard was an avid hunter and had a special love for the outdoors.
Richard and his brother Donald R. Morton owned and operated the family business, D.C. Morton and Sons.
He is survived by his daughters, Deanna R. Morton, and Kimberly M. Post and husband, Timothy J. Post; sister, Dorothy A. Novak; sister-in-Law, Leah Morton; and grandchildren, Timothy R. Post and fiancée, Charlotte, and Devin C. Turner. Richard was predeceased by his parents, and brother, Donald R. Morton.
