Sangerville - Carolyn E. Brown, 80, wife of the late Vincent Brown Sr., passed away peacefully September 18, 2025, at her daughter’s home surrounded by family. She was born November 4, 1944, in Dexter, the daughter of John V. and Mildred L. (Green) Johnson. Carolyn loved cooking, taking care of grandchildren and all of her siblings, and camping. She will be remembered for loving everybody equally and always seeing the good in everyone.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Penny Brown and husband, William Sr., Kathleen Clark and husband, Raymond, and Vincent Brown Jr. and wife, Candy; five grandchildren, Brandon Clark, Tiffany Redmond and husband, Tristan, Dylan Clark and significant other, Mandy, Todd Brown and significant other, Hannah, and Vincent W. Brown; one step-grandson, William Brown Jr. and wife, Holly; four great-grandchildren, Keegan, Karalyn, Owen and Carter; three step-grandchildren, Zayden, Xzavier, and Autumn; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her loving husband, Vincent, she was predeceased by her parents; God son, Roddy Rodrigue; grandchild, Jordan Brown; step-grandchild, Carlie Rae Brown; two brothers, Raymond and Oscar; and eight sisters, Beatrice, Martha, Mable, Helen, Kat, Viola, Leona, and Cora.

A graveside funeral service will be held 2PM Monday, September 22, 2025, at the Brown Family Cemetery, 19 Jackman Corner Road, Sangerville. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
