Lamont H. Flanders Obituary

Dover-Foxcroft – Lamont H. Flanders, 83, passed away peacefully August 5, 2025, at the Maine Veterans’ Home in Bangor. He was born December 15, 1941, in Madison, the son of Allie A. and Shirley I. (Murray) Flanders. Lamont proudly served in the U.S. Army and worked his career as a drive shaft machinist.


Lamont is survived by his wife, Joyce (Martin) Flanders; two sons, Lamont Flanders Jr. and Robert Flanders; daughter, Dawn Marie Tuttle; brother, Roy Flanders; sister, Marietta Marble and her husband, Blaine; step-daughter, Norene Poulin; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Chad Flanders; sister, Barbara and Alverna; and step-daughter, Randia Gray.
