John E. Bryant Jr. Obituary

Guilford – John E. Bryant Jr., 59, passed away unexpectedly July 25, 2025. He was born June 21, 1966, in Bangor, the son of John E. Bryant Sr. and Joyce (Tozier) Stillson. John loved spending time outdoors and particularly fishing. He was passionate about the Boston Celtics, Boston Bruins, and Boston Red Sox. When John Jr. was in grade school he was quite a baseball pitcher. One of his admirers once offered him 25 cents for every batter he could strike out during a game. He amassed quite a pocketful of change by the end of the game and the offer was never repeated. John had a natural artistic talent and did a lot of beautiful drawings in his younger years. He will be remembered as a free spirit, and very independent person who had his opinions and stuck to them.

John is survived by his father, John Sr. and his wife, Tamara; his sister, Cindy Ashmore; his son, Dustin Bryant; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Joyce, and his sister, Linda Bryant.

Services will be private for the family. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
