


Obituary of Roberto Castillo-Negron
Brownville – Roberto Castillo-Negron, 67, left this life with his sister singing to him, June 18, 2025, at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, Bangor. He was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, July 20, 1957, the son of Jose R. Castillo and Aida M. Negron. Roberto served with the U.S. Army for 15 years and was a member of the American Legion Post 41. He was also a member of the Brownville ATV and Brownville Snowmobile Club. Roberto met Jeannette A. Page in Fort Knox, Kentucky and four years later they were married on September 17, 1985. In 1993, they moved to Maine from Fort Riley, Kansas.
He leaves behind his wife of 39 years, Jeannette A. Page; sister, Aida M. Castillo; nieces, Norelys Rivera and Alina Diaz; nephews, Miguel Diaz, Gabriel Cabello, and Emanuel A. Castillo; and brother-in-law, Elinor Rivera. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Hector I. Castillo.
Visiting hours will be held 1-2:30PM Sunday, June 22, 2025 at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft. A graveside funeral service with military honors will be held 11AM Monday, June 23, 2025,at the Abbot Village Cemetery, with Rev. Stephen Dean officiating.
