Bruce A. Yonkin Obituary

Sangerville – Bruce A. Yonkin, 58, passed away May 15, 2025, at his home in Sangerville. He was born December 12, 1966 in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Maurice and Louise (Fogg) Yonkin. He attended Guilford schools and played soccer for P.C.H.S. Bruce worked as a carpenter for many years.

Bruce was a loving son and brother and he loves his son dearly. He was a faithful companion to Penny for 24 wonderful years. Bruce had an infectious smile and brought joy to those who knew him. More simply put, Bruce was the life of the party and he will be greatly missed by all, including his Maine coon cat, Thumper.

Bruce is survived by his significant other, Penny Brown; son, Dustin; step-daughters, Tesia, Ashley, and Kristen; brothers, Brian and Maurice “Moe”; and niece, Cassie. He was predeceased by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate for donations to be sent to Lary Funeral Home, P.O. Box 128, Dover-Foxcroft, ME 04426. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Memories and messages of condolence may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com
