Cheryl Ann French Obituary

Dover-Foxcroft - Cheryl Ann French, 66, peacefully passed May 2, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on May 13, 1958, in Dexter, Cheryl’s life was a testament to resilience, generosity, and a deep devotion to her family.


A loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Cheryl will be remembered for her warm heart and devotion to family, her joy in watching her grandchildren’s various sports and other activities, and the way she made those around her feel truly seen and cherished. She also enjoyed diamond art and crocheting and made many loving gift for her family.


Cheryl dedicated her life to her family, always offering her unwavering support and unconditional love. Her legacy is one of grace, kindness, and a boundless love that continues to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her spirit — full of love, warmth, and strength — will remain in their hearts always.


Cheryl is lovingly survived by her dad, John; daughter, Heidi; sons, Trey and wife, Amie, Chris and fiancée, Nikki, and Corey and fiancée, Jasmane; and siblings, Kevin and wife, Lisa, Teresa and husband, Scott, Michelle and husband, Kevin, and Scott and wife, Kathy. Cheryl was a proud and devoted grandmother to Kaitlyn and husband, Nick, Deanna and fiancé, Hunter, Destiny, Robert, Devon and wife, Kimmy, Madison, Taylor, Jason, Desirae, Owen, Edward, Elijah, Issac, Nathan, Parker, Hayden, Alex, Jackson, and Kinsley. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Octavia, Tanner, Walker, and one on the way. She was predeceased by her mother, Charlene; her father, Charles; her stepmother, Norma; and loving family friend, Walker’s mother, Jersie.


Visiting hours will be held 6-8PM Monday, May 12, 2025, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft. A funeral service to celebrate Cheryl’s life will be held 10AM Tuesday, May 13, at the Corinth United Methodist Church with Dr. Steven Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Dover Cemetery, Dover-Foxcroft. A gathering will be held after the burial at the Piscataquis Valley Fairgrounds. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
