Milo – Verna J. “Jackie” Mann, 73, passed away April 18, 2025, at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, Bangor, with family by her side. She was born December 26, 1951, in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, the daughter of Edward and Grace (Cook) Blanchard. Jackie worked at Guilford Industries and later Interface Fabrics for over 25 years. She loved fishing, camping, and spending time with her grandkids. Jackie is survived by three daughters, Kathy Artus and her husband, Scott, Tina Saunders, and Anita Woodbury; son, Alan Perkins and wife, Katie; four brothers, Edward, James, Raymond, and Everett Blanchard; two sisters, Sheila Schumacher and Phyllis Moody; nine grandchildren, Justin Artus and his wife, Britney, Charles Artus, Dakota Saunders and his wife, Josephine, Trevor Saunders, Kassandra Files, Krista Graves, and Macee, Alfred, and Harlee Perkins; great-grandson, Trenton; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her loving husband, Roland D. Mann; brother, Brian Blanchard; and her best friend for more than 50 years, Florence (Suki) Badger A graveside funeral service will be held 2PM Friday, May 2, at the family lot in the Evergreen Cemetery, Milo, with Pastor Stephen Dean officiating.
