Obituary of Marilyn W. Wyman

Milo – Marilyn W. Wyman, 84, passed away March 16, 2025, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, with family at her side. She was born January 5, 1941, in Milo, the daughter of Alfred W. and Mildred L. (Lyford) Witham. Marilyn held many jobs throughout her life including working as a restaurant cook, sewer at Hathaway Shirt Co., and doing dairy, vegetable, hay and greenhouse farming. She spent much of her time feeding calves, driving hay and silage truck, selling vegetables and hay, and working in the greenhouse. Marilyn most enjoyed spending time with family and having get-togethers and game nights. Marilyn also enjoyed feeding and watching birds. She also had a love for watching Western and British TV Shows, and listening to 50’s and 60’s and music, especially Fats Domino and Elvis. She had two beloved cats, Oscar and Leo, and a dog, Rylee. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Richard M. Wyman; four children, Patrick Larrabee and significant other, Leeanne Cote, Pamella Larrabee, Peter Larrabee and wife, Tracy, and Jennifer Purdue and husband, Joseph; six grandchildren, Kaylynn Whalen and husband, Jamie, Peter Larrabee II, Phillip Larrabee, Aerock Gray and significant other, Jessica Yoakum, Megan Gray and significant other, Danny Toder, and Hannah Guthrie and significant other, Zach Blakeman; nine great-grandchildren, Ewan, Skylar, Brooklynn, Brody, Harper, Zoey, Rosemary, Victoria, and Emersyn; brother, Carroll Witham and wife, Kathy; sister-in-law, Trudy Wyman; special friends, Bill and Lenora Granger; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Maurice, Chester, and Lawrence Witham; sister, Margaret Witham; and son-in-law, Terry Mayo. A graveside memorial service will be held 1PM Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Evergreen Cemetery in Milo. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
