Obituary of Ann L. Chenery

Milo- Ann L. Chenery, 84, passed away April 15, 2018, at her home. She was born November 7, 1933, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, the daughter of Hubert L. and Julia F. (Burke) Chenery.  Ann spent her career in education and retired as an elementary school principal. She graduated from Fitchburg State College, Class of 1955, with a B.S. in Education, and finished her Master’s in Education in 1970 at the University of Maine.  Ann enjoyed reading, cooking, traveling, fishing, her camp, being with friends, and playing cards. She was a devout Christian and member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Brownville.

 

Ann is survived by her brother, Robert Chenery and his wife, Janice, of Danville, Virginia; her sister, June O’Neil and her husband, Jack, of Duxbury, Massachusetts; her dear friend, Marlene Cole and her husband, Jerry, of Milo; and several nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents, and a special friend, Jane Skehan.

 

Friends may call 1PM Friday May 11, 2018, until time of funeral service at 2PM at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo, with Rev. Kevin Holsapple officiating.  Burial will be in the family lot of the Evergreen Cemetery, Milo.
