Obituary of Placido M. Santiago

Willimantic- Placido "Mike" Morales Santiago, 82, passed away peacefully April 14, 2018, surrounded by family. He was born October 5, 1935, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to Jacinto Morales and Francisca "Pancha" Morales Santiago.  He loved his wife and family deeply and will be missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 57 years, Pauline (Denham) Morales; five sons, Eddie, Peter, Paul, Placido, and Jose; three daughters, Barbara, Rosa, and Anita; many grandchildren including John Wayne, Christopher, Natasha, Brittany, and Ava; two great-grandchildren, Qianna and Roslyn; and many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. Mike was predeceased by his son, Roberto Juan, and his granddaughter, Ella.

A committal service will be held 10am Friday, May 25, 2018, at the Riverside Cemetery, Willimantic. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com
