Obituary of Alvin L. Adams

Abbot - Alvin Lewis Adams, 90, passed away on February 10, 2018, at Hibbard Nursing Home in Dover-Foxcroft. He was born in Sangerville on September 26, 1927, the son of Lewis and Alice Pullyard Adams. Alvin served in the U.S.Navy during World War II. Most of his working career was spent at Hardwood Products.

Alvin is survived by his wife of 68 years, Betty Perkins Adams of Abbot; two daughters, Pam Doodeman and Diane Rollins; brother, Doran Adams; two sisters, Jackie and husband Wayne Libby, and Nona and husband Roy Carroll; and five grandchildren.

A graveside memorial service will be conducted this summer at the Blanchard Cemetery in Abbot. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
