Obituary of Robin Michelle Gardner

LaGrange - Robin Michelle Gardner, 63, passed away unexpectedly November 24, 2017.  She was born December 3, 1953, in Fairbanks, Alaska, the daughter of James Gordon and Val Elizabeth (Pratt) Bennett. Robin loved the Lord, reading her bible in the morning, worship, singing, and her church, New Life Old Town.  She was very involved with the Old Town YMCA and with her work from the YMCA had overcome walking with a cane to becoming a fitness instructor.

Robin is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Gary Gardner; her son, Alex Gardner; her two daughters, Celeste Creighton and her husband, Alex, and Brooke Gardner; her two granddaughters, Mercedes and Emily Creighton; and her brother, James Bennett. She was predeceased by her brother, Michael Bennett, and her sister, Mary. She will be remembered by Kelly Gilbert-Rios, Mario and Marco Gilbert, and her entire church family.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Sunday, December 3, 2017, at New Life Old Town. Memorial contributions may be made to New Life Old Town, 261 Main Street, Old Town 04468.
