Greenville- Richard D. Annett, 70, passed away October 6, 2017, at Charles A. Dean Memorial Hospital, Greenville. He was born January 30, 1947, in Dexter, the son of Chester E. and Norma (Clifford) Annett.  A U.S. Army veteran, Richard worked for General Electric until his retirement to become caretaker with his wife, Gayle, for 15 years at Rainbow Lake Lodge. He was currently the owner and operator of Moosehead Wildlife Taxidermy. A Maine Registered Guide, Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing, anything outdoors, family gatherings, and will be remembered as an avid pilot that truly loved his time flying.  No matter what Richard did, he did it passionately and with all he had.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Gayle (Prescott) Annett; two sons, Russell Annett and Ryan Annett and his companion, Michelle; granddaughter, Taylor Annett; three brothers, Douglas Annett and his wife, Linda, Dennis Annett and his wife, Mary, and William Annett and his companion, Lori; and sister, Patricia Marin and her husband, Jerry. He will be missed by his best girl, Katie, his Brittany Spaniel.

A graveside service with military honors will be held 11AM Monday, October 16, 2017, at the family lot in Clark’s Hill Cemetery, Stetson. Memorial contributions may be made to Charles A. Dean Memorial Hospital, 364 Pritham Avenue, Greenville, Maine 04441. Arrangements are in the care of Lary Funeral Home.
