Please share a memory of David to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Sebec and Dover-Foxcroft – Heaven has received yet another Angel to watch over us. Our Dad, David Keith Seavey, 77, passed away April 22, 2017, at Mayo Regional Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft. He was born February 23, 1940, in Staceyville, the son of Leo Bouchard and Florilla Mary Seavey. David was a gifted mechanic and able to make anything work. He enjoyed fishing, camping, Budweiser, pickerel, fiddleheads and flying. David was always the life of the party. A current resident at Hibbard's Nursing Home, he never ceased to say "I'm in jail" even if he was kept comfortable or not; luckily a fact the staff at Hibbard’s was aware of. He is survived by a son, David Seavey, and his wife, Dawn, of Sebec; a step-son, Ryan Smith of Dover-Foxcroft; three daughters, Deborah Warren of Milo, Cathy Brown of Dover-Foxcroft, Nycol Seavey of Corinna; four brothers, Wayne Heal and his wife, Rose, Herbert Heal and his wife, Blanche, Lewis Heal, and Sonny Heal; two sisters, Judy Morse and her husband, Gordon, and Noreen Smith; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, an infant son, David K. Seavey, Jr. and a brother, Nolan Heal. A graveside service will be conducted 1pm Sunday, April 30, 2017, at the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery, with Pastor Phil McGlauflin officiating. A celebration of David’s life will continue at the Milo Town Hall after the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Deborah L. Warren, 45 Park Street, Apt. 1K, Milo, ME 04463. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home, Milo. Condolences may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
