Milo - Julius N. Murano, Jr.,73, husband of the late Sandra L. (Mayo) Murano, died February 21, 2017, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. He was born in New Haven, CT, August 6, 1943, the son of Julius A. Murano, Sr. and Mary C. (Puccino) Murano. Julius was employed by MSAD #41 for many years before his retirement. He is survived by his daughter, Tina Smith and her husband, Christopher, of Brunswick; his sons, Julius "Jay" Murano III and his wife, Tammy, of LaGrange, and Robert "Bobby" Murano and his wife, Tricia, of Milford; his sister, Marie Sparano and her husband, Anthony, of New Haven, CT; his grandchildren, Brian Smith and his wife, Kristen, Kristina Smith, Jessica Smith, Julius Murano IV and his fiancée, Kelly Bassett, Alyssa Murano, Aidan Murano, Cassandra Murano and Haley Murano; and several nieces and nephews. Julius will be remembered by his friend, Everett Davis of Dover-Foxcroft and many friends he made at Hilltop Manor in Dover- Foxcroft, where he was a resident for the last 7 months. Friends may call 5-7PM Thursday, February 23, 2017, at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30AM Friday, February 24, 2017, at Sts. Francis Xavier and Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Milo, with Rev. Fr. Mark Nolette, celebrant. Burial will be 10AM Friday, May 12, 2017, in the family lot at Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in honor of Julius to Tina Smith, 203 Coombs Road, Brunswick, ME 04011. Messages of condolence may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
