Elliotsville - Patricia L. (Roberts) McSorley, 79, wife of Leroy A. McSorley, passed away August 17, 2016, at C.A. Dean Memorial Hospital in Greenville. She was born September 23, 1936, in Willimantic, the daughter of Coburn George and Eula Amber (Perry) Roberts. Patricia had worked for Great Northern Paper Co. as a cook. She was an excellent cook and extremely accomplished at all she did, although her favorite job was always as a mother and grandmother. She is survived by two sons, Perry McSorley and his wife, Janet, and William McSorley and his wife, Jenise; a daughter, Julie McSorley and her boyfriend, Greg McKusick; a brother, Robert Roberts and his wife, Beverly; 4 grandchildren, Andrea Green and her husband, Butch, Travis McSorley and his girlfriend, Cami High, Rachel Harmon, and Hilary Harmon; three great-grandchildren, Triston Green, Hunter McSorley, Nevaeh Sibert. She was predeceased by a son, Brian; a daughter, Shannon; and three brothers, William, Raymond “Ding”, and Rusty. She will be remembered by a special niece, Susan Larson and her husband, Jim. Patricia’s family extends special thanks to the C.A. Dean Memorial Hospital staff, and are especially grateful for the compassionate care from Mindy, Heather, Cynthia, and Dr. Babbitt. A memorial service will be conducted 2pm Monday, August 22, 2016, at the Lary Funeral Home, 21 Oak Street, Guilford, with Pastor Marilyn Rohdin officiating.
